Lisa Iannacito McBride – grew up through the School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet and supplemented her training at Boston Ballet and The Julliard School. She received her BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase where she performed works by Mark Morris, Jose Limon and Pascal Rioult. Upon graduation she toured Spain with Kazuko Hirabayaki & Ballet Contemporaneo de Burgos. In NYC, she was a member of and Associate Artistic Director for Riedel Dance Theater as well as a member of and rehearsal director for Lydia Johnson Dance. Teaching credits include the Mark Morris Dance Center, Ballet Academy East and Pace University. She also served as Company Manager, rehearsal director and dancer for Dances Patrelle. She is thrilled to return to ABB, her dance home, and is grateful to Miss Madeline and her family for their continued support.
Kerry Piaggione – is a graduate of the School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet. Ms. Piaggione studied dance at Hofstra University and and holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Union College. Ms. Piaggione has performed extensively with the ABB including The Nutcracker, “Girl at the Mirror” from the Rockwell Suites, Caprice and Carmina Burana. She also has participated in Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s Classical Kids program, promoting classical dance in local schools. Ms. Piaggione is a rehearsal mistress, teacher and administrator at the SABB. Kerry continues to perform with the ABB’s Nutcracker Tour across New England.
Alison Phoenix – a native of Coxsackie, NY, Alison began her dance training with Jane DiGiovanni at Hill Top Dance. Her growing love for ballet brought her to The School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet at age ten. As an apprentice with ABB, Alison performed Paula Weber’s Carmina Burana and Mary Margaret Gioannone-Talmi’s world premiere of Light on the Water before entering Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. Having earned a BA in Dance, with concentrations in Performance and Teaching/Choreography, Alison is proud to have gained her knowledge and experience from a number of notable individuals and groups, including Tauna Hunter, Michael Gleason, Christine Hay, Mark Santilliano, Vivi Flindt of The Royal Danish Ballet, Dance Alloy, and Pilobolus. Following graduation, Alison rejoined The Albany Berkshire Ballet as a company member and instructor of dance at The School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet in Albany, NY and The Cantarella School in Pittsfield, MA. Alison’s most notable roles include a “Big Swan” in Swan Lake, “Arabian”, “Spanish”, “Waltz of the Flowers”, and “Snowflakes” in ABB’s The Nutcracker, as well as roles in Nancy King’s Peter and the Wolf and Autumn and within Karen Corey-Malik’s Aesop’s Fables.
Ruslan Sprague – has been dancing with the ABB since he was 4, cast as the change-ling in “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” all the way up to the Snow Prince in the production of “The Nutcracker”. Ruslan has also studied with Darrell Pucciarello from the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, and danced as a trainee with Ballet West in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ruslan is currently teaching dance at the Renaissance Arts Center in Great Barrington.
