Annual spring seasons draw from a diverse repertory built over the past 50 years with productions ranging from classical masterpieces to Cutting edge new works. Over the past fifty-six years, ABB has worked with esteemed choreographers such as Laura Dean, Mary Talmi, Saeko Ichinohe, Philip Jerry, Bill T. Jones, Charles Moulton, Francis Patrelle, Daniel Pelzig, Gus Solomons, Jr., Paula Weber, and Igor Youskevitch. These artists among others have contributed to the Company’s substantial repertory of diverse works. Each year, the troupe presents a season that draws from this extensive catalogue top reserve the classics, while pushing boundaries into the future.


For the 2017 Spring Season, the ABB will present new works by local choreographers, as well as the classic Our Town, choreographed by renowned ballet master Phillip Jerry shortly before his death in 1995. The ballet is based on the play by 1938 Pulitzer Prizewinning playwright, Thornton Wilder. This poignantly relevant work first premiered two decades ago and is a testament to its enduring dramatic power and simple beauty.
